MIRRORS OF ICE

In the vastness of Argentine Patagonia, snow-covered mountains meet lakes and rivers that, for brief moments, turn into fragile mirrors. It was within these reflections that my gaze discovered a parallel universe: peaks, clouds, and fragments of ice projected onto the water, like paintings in constant transformation.
In black and white, the images gain intensity. The contrast between light and shadow, reinforced by intentional grain, reveals both the harshness of the landscape and its fleeting delicacy. These 9 photographs do not merely show reflections, but another form of the mountain’s existence — a silent, imperfect double inhabiting the surface of the water.
