ECHOES OF THE ANDES
 
Entre março e abril de 2023, participei de uma expedição fotográfica à Patagônia Argentina, atravessando paisagens que desafiam o corpo e encantam a alma. Foram dias de vento cortante, neve inesperada, trilhas intensas e recompensas imensuráveis diante da grandiosidade da natureza.
De El Calafate a El Chaltén, cada passo trouxe novas descobertas: o silêncio imponente do Glaciar Perito Moreno, o primeiro amanhecer às margens da Laguna Capri, a espera pela luz dourada que toca o Fitz Roy. Momentos em que a fotografia deixa de ser apenas técnica e se transforma em experiência, resistência e contemplação.
A série nasceu desse encontro íntimo com a paisagem. É um registro do frio que atravessa, da luz que se abre entre nuvens e da emoção de estar diante de cenários que parecem intocados. Mais que fotografias, são fragmentos de uma jornada – memórias que carregam o peso do esforço e a leveza da beleza.
 
 
Between March and April 2023, I joined a photographic expedition through Argentine Patagonia, crossing landscapes that challenge the body and captivate the soul. Days of cutting winds, unexpected snow, demanding trails, and immeasurable rewards before the grandeur of nature.
From El Calafate to El Chaltén, each step revealed new wonders: the solemn silence of the Perito Moreno Glacier, the first sunrise on the shores of Laguna Capri, the golden light slowly embracing Mount Fitz Roy. Moments when photography transcends technique and becomes experience, endurance, and contemplation.
The series was born from this intimate encounter with the landscape. It is a record of the cold that pierces, the light that breaks through the clouds, and the emotion of standing before seemingly untouched scenery. More than photographs, they are fragments of a journey—memories carrying the weight of effort and the lightness of beauty.
